I.T.Worx Opens Retail Space in Greensboro
Greensboro, N.C. — November 12, 2009 —I.T.Worx, one of the Triad’s largest computer-service firms, is relocating its retail-sales space, administrative offices, and computer-service labs to Irving Park Plaza at 1724 Battleground Ave., from Piedmont Parkway. In the new storefront, the growing company will be centrally located so as to best meet the needs of its retail clients and customers.
As part of the move to the convenient and accessible new space, I.T.Worx will expand its full range of sales and service options. I.T.Worx will stock an array of new and exciting Apple and Windows products. The retail space will create a unique experience where customers, assisted by highly trained staff, can personally interact with the latest components and software.
In addition to being an Apple Authorized Reseller, the company is one of a handful of Apple Authorized Service Providers in the Triad. The staff comprises trained Apple and Windows certified technicians, as well as certified experts in other platforms, including UNIX. The combined technical talent has the experience and expertise to assist in solving all types of computer, software, systems, and cross-platform concerns.
Jeffrey Loy, I.T.Worx president, is extremely excited about the move saying “Our clients have been asking us about when we were going to be more centrally located.” He adds, “I.T.Worx is about pro service and by increasing our retail and service space in Greensboro, we will be able to enhance our professional service at both the business level and the consumer level.”
Vice President Joe Michel explains, “We’ll have the newest line of products on display so our customers can check them out and test them. We will offer anyone who comes through the door a chance to try the most current and advanced technology available. We’re not going to be simply selling computer products, we’ll be helping clients make a choice that will improve their lifestyle.”
Loy adds, “And it’s not just about the professional quality of our established business-to-business service. It’s also about offering the same professional quality at the individualconsumer level. I will have technicians available for direct dispatch, even for our non-business clients.”
With the move, I.T.Worx will continue to operate uninterrupted its large portfolio of services: design and build IT infrastructures; hosts email, Web sites, and servers; maintain and upgrades computer systems for Triad area businesses, and design and develop Web sites suited for e-commerce.
The new retail space is approximately three times the size of space at the previous location and the new headquarters will be divided into four distinct parts: the retail store, a seminar/training facilities, a technicians’ repair shop and labs, and the administrative offices. The official opening will be Monday, November 16.
